This Privacy Policy explains how Graded Text ("we," "us," "our") handles personal data through the Graded Text service (the "Service"). This is a placeholder policy: review and replace this text before launch.

2. What data we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address (used for magic-link login and account communication) and billing information. We never see or store your full card details; payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, and we only receive a customer and subscription reference from them.

When you use the rewriting tool, we store the text you submit, the tone-of-voice document you optionally provide, and the rewritten result, so you can return to past texts later from your account history.

3. How we use data

We use the data above to operate the Service (generating rewrites, matching your tone of voice, showing your history, and processing billing) and to maintain and improve the Service, including security and abuse prevention.

4. Who we share data with

We don't sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run the Service:

• Supabase: database hosting and authentication.
• Stripe: payment processing and billing.
• OpenRouter: routes the text you submit to the AI model that performs the rewrite.

5. Data retention

Your submitted texts, tone-of-voice document, and rewritten results are kept until you delete your account, at which point they are permanently deleted.

You may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data depending on where you live. Contact us via our contact page for any request.
